Whitnash Windmill Petanque Club

   Whitnash Windmill Pétanque Club is one of the most progressive Pétanque Clubs in the country. In our short history we have grown to 90 members strong, including 30 juniors. The Club is based at the Whitnash Sports and Social Club . The club has a purpose built 17m x 30m, with excellent flood-lighting enabling play all year round. In addition to this we have an additional 17m x 22m temporary terrain adjacent to the main terrain.
The Club is registered with the West Midlands region of the English Pétanque Association and is active in all of the local leagues. We also have 2 qualified coaches at the club.

The Whitnash Sports and Social Club has excellent facilities available with a fully licensed bar and other club rooms, available for hire, and you are always assured a friendly welcome. There are already successful sports sections attached to the Club, including Bowls, Tennis, Table Tennis, Senior and Junior Football, Netball, Darts and Fishing which have been established at the Club for many years. The Whitnash Sports and Social Club also provides social activities such as bingo, line-dancing, ballroom and sequence dancing and occasional skittles and quiz nights.

Alongside our weekly club sessions we hold over 20 events a year for our members to enjoy. From championships to handicap and junior events there is something for players of every standard to enjoy at Whitnash. In addition we have teams in the local league and players from Whitnash are often off competing at regional and national competitions. The highlights of our playing calendar are undoubtedly our two open competitions in spring and summer that attract players from all over the uk.
